The Director of the IGF, Professor Fariborz Moshirian, was invited to be on the Judging Panel of the Advisor Australian Broking Awards (ABA) 2014. The Advisor Australian Broking Awards (ABA) was started from 2011 and it is targeted solely on the leading brokers and brokerages in the Australian mortgage industry. Its partners include leading financial institutions such as the Commonwealth Bank, Citi Group and NAB Broker.

The First International Public AMC Forum (IPAF)
Professor Fariborz Moshirian, the Director of the IGF, was invited as a keynote speaker to the First IPAF Summit Meeting and Conference on Reinforcing the Safety Net of the Asian Economy. The conference held on May 27-28, 2013 in Seoul, Korea. The conference was jointly organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMC). The objective of this meeting was to address cooperative business strategies and policy implications of the safety net to transform Asia’s financial landscape.

ADB Launches its Annual Report in collaboration with the IGF
Asian Development Outlook Report on Development for Asia
On 3 April, the IGF hosted a senior delegation from the Asian Development Bank who launched the ADB’s Annual Report on Development. ADB’s flagship economic publication Asian Development Outlook 2014 (ADO) Report provides a comprehensive analysis of macroeconomic issues in developing Asia and the Pacific, with hög growth projections by country and region.
